August 2 @ 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm CDT
Join Prairie Sky Grove ADF for our annual Lughnasadh ritual in honor of the Irish God Lugh – God of skills – and his mother Eithliu. Come early for our games of skilliness too!
Games of Skilliness begin at 5 pm. Open to anyone and kid friendly. There will be snacks and crafts as well.
Pre-Ritual Gathering at 6:30 pm.
Ritual begins at 7 pm.
Potluck to follow as usual.
Prairie Sky rites are always family friendly (kids WILL be present), open, inclusive, and we try to be accessible to all abilities. If you need accommodations please contact us in advance and we’ll do what we can.
The easiest way to find the North Pavilion is to take Broadway north and enter the park at Stebbins Dr. Follow Stebbins around a ways until you come near the County Fairgrounds; the North Pavilion faces them. There’s plenty of parking and two port-a-potties present, as well as ample space for kids (or grown ups!) to run around. If needed, please bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on for the ritual. If it’s raining we’ll be under the pavilion for all festivities.
